Turkey, Syria regime deploy military to Aleppo

Turkey and the Syrian regime of President Bashar Al-Assad have recently deployed army reinforcements into the countryside of Aleppo, northern Syria, local media outlets reported.

The Turkish and Syrian military build-ups coincide with the emergence of reports of a Turkish “surprise” operation against the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) militia in the cities of Manbij, Tal Rifaat and Ayn Al-Arab.

The citizens of the town and neighboring villages raised national flags and banners calling for an end to the illegitimate Turkish presence on Syrian lands and its tools from terrorist organizations and their brutal crimes against Syrian citizens
