Oman cancels mandatory PCR test requirements for fully vaccinated travellers
In a statement, the Supreme Committee said travellers need to present an approved COVID-19 vaccination certificate indicating that he or she has been vaccinated with two doses. ‘The decision comes into effect from March 1, 2022,’ it stated.
The committee also said wearing face masks will be optional in open places. ‘Wearing face masks will still be mandatory in closed places,” the statement said.
The committee also allowed hotels to operate at 100 per cent capacity in addition to to allowing the resumption of direct education system by 100 per cent in all academic levels starting from Sunday, March 6, 2022.
